Thanks...they do look adorable (if we may say so ourselves)!
The rolling platform is actually a lazy susan and can be bought at a bed, bath and beyond or linen and things or any kitchen gaget store. I bought mine ages ago.

how long will the dough or half cooked rotis keep in the fridge? Id like to make some in advance and then put in toaster for breakfast before work.

A couple of days. I made them and then kept them in the fridge overnight, wrapped in foil. The next day, I brought them down to room-temp and then put them in the the toaster. They still puffed up very well.

Nice recipe but the toaster limits the size of the roti. I toast/fluff up the rotis directly onto the gas flame. This adds the smoky flavor which instantly reminds you of the tandoor and is also much faster.

We have never tried to freeze them, but they work very well refrigerated - they still puff up.

i used to make these but always put them in hot oil and pressed down on them so they would puff up..(aka balloon bread?)
