I heard that you can eat Splenda in place of sugar and it will not make you gain weight. It is also safe for people with diabetes. My mother has it and we both use Splenda. There is also a website for recipes for desserts.

Hello there, good question! As a matter of fact you're the only person who has ever asked me this question. My program is high protein, low sugar... generally speaking "cheap food" is very high in sugar however, on sale... chicken, ground beef, turkey, can all be purchased reasonably. Low sugar veggies are the same price as high sugar veggies. Pre-packeged junk food is very expensive per pound. Ultimetly health costs have to be considered in the high sugar diet as well.
